ARARAT Brandy Celebrates the Legacy of William Saroyan

ARARAT Armenian Brandy is proud to partner with the William Saroyan Foundation for Saroyan Days 2026, a celebration of the enduring legacy of William Saroyan, one of the most distinctive voices of Armenian-American literature.

As a festival partner, ARARAT will support The William Saroyan Immersive Experience, a multimedia presentation that brings ten of Saroyan’s celebrated works to life at the Museum of Literature and Arts in Yerevan. The exhibition opens on September 4 and will run throughout Saroyan Days, from September 4 to 12.

To mark the opening, ARARAT Armenian Brandy will welcome guests to an evening that brings together two expressions of Armenian heritage: Saroyan’s art of storytelling and ARARAT’s tradition of Armenian craftsmanship. The event is organized in partnership with the William Saroyan Foundation, which continues to preserve Saroyan’s literary legacy while revealing new dimensions of his work to contemporary audiences.

“It has become a cherished tradition to launch “Saroyan Days” at the Museum of Literature and Arts each year, where a part of Saroyan’s archive is preserved. This year’s project presents a particular challenge for our museum, as, for the first time, a digital exhibition is being presented in an institution that preserves two million original artifacts – without a single physical object on display. Through the joint efforts of our partners, an institution dedicated to preserving cultural heritage continues to embrace the present and move forward with the times,” says Syuzanna Khojamiryan, Director of the Museum of Literature and Arts.

“We are thrilled to present The William Saroyan Immersive Experience at the Museum of Literature and Arts and to welcome ARARAT as a valued partner,” says Scott Setrakian, President of the William Saroyan Foundation.

“William Saroyan’s work has always carried a powerful sense of Armenian identity while speaking to audiences far beyond Armenia. For ARARAT, supporting Saroyan Days is a meaningful way to celebrate that same spirit of heritage, creativity, and connection. We are proud to contribute to an experience that brings Saroyan’s world closer to audiences in Armenia and beyond,” concludes Zaruhi Saribekyan, Communications Manager at Yerevan Brandy Company.
