New Facets of a Long-Standing Partnership

ARARAT and the “Golden Apricot”
New Facets of a Long-Standing Partnership

This year, the over 20-year partnership between Armenian brandy ARARAT and the international “Golden Apricot” film festival was marked by new and exciting forms of collaboration.
On the eve of the “Golden Apricot,” the creative team of the Yerevan Brandy Company, together with their colleagues from the festival, organized a special event for influencers aimed at promoting shared values.

Then, on July 13, with the support of ARARAT Armenian brandies, the opening ceremony of the 22nd “Golden Apricot” film festival took place at the House of Cinema.

ARARAT brandies have supported the “Golden Apricot” since the very first day of the festival’s founding, capturing its warmest moments.
This year, within the framework of the festival, ARARAT also honored the 100th anniversaries of Armenian cinema masters Henrik Malyan and Aghasi Ayvazyan, paying tribute to their outstanding creative legacy.

“For more than twenty years, the ‘Golden Apricot’ has introduced us to world cinema, bringing to Armenia what is new and meaningful, renowned and destined to become classic.
From the very first day of its founding, ‘Golden Apricot’ has paid homage to the masters whose creative vision shaped the worldview of every Armenian, striving to make us more compassionate and attentive, braver and more thoughtful; it has passed on a moral compass and an entire palette of emotions. In this way, ‘The Triangle’ by Henrik Malyan and Agasi Ayvazyan is not just a space where the Human being discovered the finest expressions of the spirit — it is a forge of our shared values,” said Serge Khachatryan, Chief Operating Officer of the Yerevan Brandy Company, at the festival’s opening ceremony.
